Sunday  11th   Celebrating The Tyndale Bible Story.

Churches Together in Halesowen are celebrating the 500 years since the translation of the Bible as we know it from the languages they were originally transcribed, into early english, and published in 1526.

This was not well received by the Church at the time, who saw that it could challenge the political powers of the Church within the  government, by removing the exclusivity of Latin as the official language.

The Tyndale Bible made a huge contribution to the rapid development of the english language as well of widening the knowledge of Biblical History.
